Thread: Greens and Horn--What Are They For?

Well, greens is a type of vegetable resource, and is used in various schematics. Although placing a flora harvester is probably easier than slaughtering ewoks for a usable stack (not quite as fun, though).
Horn is an old creature resource that scouts could harvest off of animal corpses, but that harvesting was removed sometime during beta. However, the item still shows up in the loot table, so you occasionally come across stacks as loot from NPCs, in locked containers, searching debris piles, or in magseals. It can be used in a generic "organic" or "creature structural" slot in a schematic, but it's basically useless.
But just because it's useless doesn't mean there's not someone out there who'd want it. I've seen some weird "collectors" who made museums for these loot-only resources (although not so much lately).

i have a few stacks of horn... the picture looks pretty cool, i keep it in what looks like a storage closet on my yacht

Looted 2 units of Dathomirian avian meat off of a Nightsister Sentry at the Forced Labor Camp POI once. It's not just Ewoks I guess.

everyone deletes things like this thats utterly useless now.. like peko peko albatross feathers used to be long ago..
then along came RIS, and everyone was banging their heads wishing they kept theirs.. ditto GDK scales.. ditto rebel endor helm.. ditto tusken helm (for a time)..
you just never know.. lol

Yeah, I looted a number of nightsister armor peices back in the first month of the game and destroyed them all cause only girls could wear them.
How many millions of credits did I destroy, only god knows. *sob*

Yep I sold my spare tusken helmet for 11mil when they were not dropping. I found some hot tusken females and got with them like rabbits cause I have tons of children running around now.
