Last night myself and a friend were running round Dantooine killing anything random we came across. We found 4 / 5 slinking voritor hunters together and picked these off.

Now then....from them i was able to harvest Dantooine Avian Bones (104 per harvest) with an Overall quality of 977

Is this any good, or are there other stats i should consider?

crafting docs would use them for any unspecified organic ingredients when crafting meds.. Overall Quality, Potential Energy, and Unit Toughness are the 3 stats doctors need to watch for..

OQ & PE = medicine strength/power

UT = charges (use-per-stimpack)

you would definitely find doctors that wouldn't mind a few more of those to make stimpacks.. but try and gather more.. I would only take creature resource if I know I could get at least 15-20k or more of them..

BEs can use them for something too ... there's a tailor tissue that requires bones, and only OQ matters. A few k would be enough, more appreciated.

Yes BEs require bones in the Tensile resistance tissues I believe. It does require only OQ so that stuff there would be a good stuff to use in it. Every BE product is OQ, FL, and PE.

Dant Avian Bone is also used to make Wookiee Hunting Armor I believe.... from what I remember from Armorsmith... OQ, SR and MA are important.

Another tool for checking who uses what is the "resource usage" link on swgcraft.com. It only checks the specific category you pick, so selecting "Dantooine Avian bones" lists all the schems that require Dant avian bone, but not avian bone or just bone. You'd have to pick each one individually to see what all the schematics would be.

There's a couple chef schematics that use bone, and OQ is the only stat that contributes for those. If you're on chilastra and you can gather 5-10k, I'd take it off your hands.

You found 4/5 of a slinking voritor hunter? Was he missing his tail or something?

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."
