OK, the newsfeed on your page thing is cool and all...
But as an experienced PHP programmer, I'd really like to see an RSS feed, so I can have my page format it itself, as well as include it in my RSS reader (Trillian).

Sorry if I've posted to the wrong area, not sure where it should go hehe.

I run Ubuntu Linux and play SWG with Cedega. Give the live CD a try, you'll like it

I'd rather they did something useful like give us guild websites and access to in game stats. like they do in Everquest 2, instead of wasting their time with this. This is little more than a marketing gimmick and a way of getting free advertising, it's not as if there is much news to actually have a feed to.

I second the RSS feed idea. Not just for PHP, but for any newsreader. You can add any RSS feed to your My Yahoo! page now, which makes putting all kinds of content you are interested in on one page pretty simple. I've already got ESPN, theforce.net, and Dilbert. SWG would top it off nicely and without much effort on SOE's part. It' really just a different format than what they are providing now. XML instead of Javascript, should take somebody a few hours tops.
