I thought tuskens were scared of krayts, well the ones i ran into today would eat it for breakfast.
How do you kill these overpowered tuskens?
My guess is get in a group of 20 people, but how do you kill tusken observers, witch doctors and executioners.????
270k hams, hitting me for 500-1500 damage even with 80% armor and max ranged defense and ranged mitigation 3.
I was taking on a super battle droid last night and he was nothing compared to these guys. I could have taken it solo if it wsant for other death watch guys shoooting me. But these tuskens are ridiculously overpowered.
Ive spent better aprt of week at fort tusken and never seen one, today there is 4 of them at the bottom by the pool. They chase you forever, hit you from 70-80m out. Quite the surprise.
So , any strategy to killing them? can you conceal shot them? I never would have thought you'd need to get in a massive group just to do fort tusken.
Got any advice besides running ?

ah yes, i remember my wide-eyed days of youth, anything above 10k ham or so was a real challenge. well okay so these tuskens are a challenge to me to.. you don't need 20 people but you need a tank and a healer would be nice. i dunno, swordsman, tkm, something, but ranged alone won't cut it

They aint that bad.... just get them into melee rather than ranged. Burst run up to them, intimidate, slap away keeping them intimidated and its job done.

The problem is that mobs like this are balanced (term used VERY loosely...) against the assumption that you'll have a melee friend tanking/soaking up damage for you. They will absolutely destroy you if you're trying to take them on head-to-head with ranged weapons.
I had no problem soloing one of the 200k+ HAM tuskens that spawned near the squill cave, using my master doc/master swordsman character. Once they switch to melee, toughness kicks in. Even the 'uber' tuskens are pretty limp whenyou have 40% or moretoughness, melee mitigation 3, good armor, damage-reducing food, and intimidate applied to the mob in question.

So get a tank, lets say tkm/mswords/mbrawler and a mdoc/mcm. Slap poison and heal the tank while he ruins his armor.
Then loot a locked container and log off.
I understand they need to make challenges for elite players with the best gear etc, but isnt that why they made the vette and dwb and krayts and gorax and nightsister elders?
Why make tuskens like this, and worst of all put them all in one room. come on, at least spread them out, i doubt a tank and healer can take four of these at once. and really untill the loot system improves, if it ever will, is it worth it to sit there for 10 minutes waiting for a tusken god to die while you wast away a huge chunk of your armor and countless stims and food and drink.
well whatever, i just got my ass handed to me by tuskens of all things and im frustrated, not even a jedi knight can kill me faster then these tuskens did. they way i see it, its kinda unbalanced.

well i didnt see those last two posts before my last reply, it makes sense now. never thought about switching them to melee and then getting toughness going. so that settels it then, im working my alt master doctor into master swords and going to pay these guys a visit in the future and avenge phatty's death.
what about maste combat medic, and fiegh death, is that lame to just run in there, area poison mind and feighn death and wait and wait and wait? ive heard its been done to elders and stuff.

Swords / Doc is a really really good combo.

So swords doc, i guess master swords, but is 4040 doc and mswords and lets say 4000 fencer doable? or is it just master swords and master doc for even stronger self buffs? also, im guessing its counterattack skill of swords that works so well, would it be worth it ot invest in some counterattack boosting items?

i'd say a m swordsman/doc would do the job, just get them to go melee, reduced a witch doctor to 50k the other day but then suddenly an executioner pops out of nowhere incapping me with 2 shots.

A small group of us took down two Observers in a row the other day at the Fort. It was me,a couple shooters, othersand some unknown Jedi in a white robe shooting lightining from a distance. What a fireworks show that was! Meanwhile, Warlords, Chiefs, Captains, etc. were happy to take cheap shots from a distance. Many were incapped, some died but the Tusken threat was obliterated
