Thread: Equip pack w/out picking it up.

I wish we could equip backpacks w/out picking them up first. Having to have 50 free spots in your inventory is a pain. I have several packs: one for crafting(resources, tools, etc), one for pvp(armor, weapons, food, spice), one for slicing(clamps, knives, auks, wuks), and one for general purpose(a little of everything).


It would be great if i could just drop a pack in my house and equip another one w/out having to clear my inventory. Have the devs ever talked about this?

Yeah, you can equip it without putting it in your inventory first. What I want to know is how you drop a backpack without unequipping it.

sweet!!! did they add this or has it been around forever? i've been playing since beta and didn't know that.

What kind of sense does that make?



Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

lol, I wasn't sure if I was clear.

What I mean is to drop an equipped backpack in a house. If I have 50 items in my equipped backpack and no inventory room can I drop it in the house without having to unequip it into my inventory first.

i'm pretty sure you can. not sure what good equiping from the house would be if you had to have room in your inv. to drop the one you are wearing.
