Thread: I won the fight and lost PvP rating, how did that happen?

Ok last night I had PvP rating of 1308. After grouping up with 20 players fora Bestine vs AH, I killed a few players, and killed one player solo. I was on me feet the entire time never got incaped, died, colned or needed a rez. NOW I HAVE A PVP RATING OF 1123!!!, what gives how did I lose rating if I did not die?

hehe, it was the first time in a log time. Very cool, Imp and Reb agreed to do old school style no jedi allowed, it was the best PvP we had in a log time. Hoping to do it again soon.

Some tried on Scylla. I wasn't on at the time though. I heard it failed though...

Unfortunately, it may appear the next one will not run as smooth...

well..#1..why would u give a rats a$$? and #2 the only players with uber ratings are usually those that can only win with gank squads and dont sacrifice themselves for defending bases,etc
i had a 1600 rating... now i hav a 900 one since i dont pvp.. u know whats changed? absolutely nothing...

the pvp rating system is just another bugged system in the game
they should have just made it so that 1 is the best and 1600 is the worst and each player gets a certain amount of points for solo kills a less amount for group kills, and then they loose points for being death blowed
similar to an fps stat sheet kills - deaths

I don't know if it is bugged but it has no point. It's just gives the losers of SWG something to brag about.

well, you can lose pvp rating with no deaths by killing someone who has a lower pvp rating than you. This has happened to me a few times.

also could be a bunch of other people in some other expanse of the large galaxy were also PVPing and a bunch managed to up their rank, not all 200 or what not im sure, but that could account for part of it
