Is it true if you destroy the item you can get the ADK back? Has anyone tried this yet?

If you destroy the item you used an ADK on you will get the ADK back. Tried and tested to be true.

So you could ADK say... a piece of armor... then when you find something better you destroy the armor and get your ADK back to use again? That's awesome!
