hey i have some questions first off,

my skills are saber xx44. healer 3xxx, enhancer 2xx2 and rest novs, am i ready for visability?

also which 3rd gen is better

391 max 8 FC

or

402 max 10 FC

I am pretty much in the same situation.

I can escape from bh - but soon 2 or 3 will hunt u and u loose 250k xp at least.

although i feel i grinded too much and i accept some bh once a week.

You cannot survive long but there is some fun in being hunted either

I would take the oen with more damage as u have channnel force

Ok Ive been gone for quite a while. When i found out that the CU was launched i checked it out. I respec my skills and now. Ok at this point i was completely lost. I went to go hunting by myself and its almost nearly impossible to kill something solo. What is this? Can someone help me out here. I just want to solo by myself because sometimes i dont have time hunting with groups.

First off, welcome back!

Now, the CU has changed a lot. Now you HAVE to group with others to get good xp. You can go soloing low level creatures and NPC's and thats about all you can solo. Plus being grouped up now gives you certain benifits such as defenses, and other stuff. And if you kill a creature lower lelvel then you are you will not get any xp...

Anyone else whats to add something to this?

Hey Guys I'm a Jedi player and I'm considering taking on ranger with my alt. He's currently an armorsmith and Chef, but I've grown tired of crafting. I appreciate the demand for items that I can get as a ranger, and I can always use the creds. Plus I'm looking for a moreexciting experience rather then standingin front of my crafting station. So my question is this, is there good money to be made & what template(s) are tops for most of you?

Top "items" is hide, meat, and bone, the only items the scouts/rangers can get that others can't.The CU changed the market rather heaviliy, so rather than getting 200cpu, we're getting around 20. hour for hour, a BH is much better for making money, (500k for one schematic, another 100k for a smuggler part, and multiple millions off of attachments) and additionally you'll get the ability to loot high-end attachments for your own good. Ranger by itself is not a great money making profession, nor does it appeal to all gamers. Right now Ranger is seriously underpowered and everything except the harvesting can be done better by other professions or combination of professions. Ranger has to speak to you as a player (explorer gamer type) or else you won't have fun.

Right now, if you're worried about credits, i'd go elsewhere, but that's just my 2 cents.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Atreyu is my Jedi

Atiro is a master ranger almost master bh (2444) Now I dont hunt player jedi (cause i think its weak to use a dev made grieving system) but my NPC marks are always a challange and I get awesome loot from them. This way I can get that great wooly hide, herb meat and awesome loot and 15k one kill missions.

Atiro is dosh and I roleplay him as the ultimate hunter. I love my template for everything except PvP.
