You know whats there? NOTHING, absolutley NOTHING, is there a reaosn why so much of all these maps have no wildlife or anything on them? drivng down to the volcano on lok, only things i see are player cities... why dont the devs even add just a few spawns there? something to make it worth travelling to, and it sucks too cause the lanscape is nice there... i'm sure every planet has this problem somewhere

Why not cut out thw worthless areas, it will reduce some of the lag, maybe not alot, but some of it... since there wont be as muhc of the planet to preload or whatever...

Lok use to be my favorite planet, back before player cities when the Snorbal ran free in a galaxy far far away.

I agree with the remore areas are void of wildlife. But I opened up a ticket one time due to this very fact. Went to talus on wanderhome and there were zero things to kill. Thought it might have been a bug but a CSR stated 'Animal, spawns, etc. population levels are due to the player levels on planet' With the quickly decreasing population levels, less and less spawns will be around to kill. Its designed this way.

Are you traveling on foot or on speeder? I believe there is a small problem with the "dynamic spawn" system that sometimes causes nothing to spawn in an area for an extended period of time. I have often, and on all planets, passed through an area and thought "wow there was nothing there". Then traveled back through the same are and it was bustleing with life. If there is an area you enjoy visiting that is void of life, leave it for a few minutes and then return. Surprisingly, if you change from foot to speeder travel and vice-versa, that helps sometimes too.

i traveled from moenia down there on foot, cause i was looking for stuff to kill for xp, then walked around fro say another 15 minutes. then hopped on my speeder, and there was nothing either way

Sometimes the double-back method will help, but often it just seems random. Always helps having area track though...

I live in Pompeii on Lok (on Intrepid) and we constantly have wildlife running through the city limits.

You haven't lived until you logon and are staring at a giant kimo glowering at your front porch.
