I know it says dot reduction but the values when making it are rather lacking in detail....

Reduction: 23

What is 23? A percent? An actual seconds of DOT reduced? Please help....

Also, does it only work on DOTs currently applied to the person (i.e. do I eat it after I get poison/disease/flame/bleed applied to me?) or is it a preventative thing, like I can eat it and for a certain time after I will have all dots reduced in duration? Basically, is it worth the filling or not as if it affects only one dot, then I cannot see the reason why this is even in game....

Any and all help/explanation is appreciated....

Thank you...

I also love the PROACTIVE approach of this last publish, actually addressing what we the players have the problems with, not fixing ID and making more ridable mounts.....Thanks for finally waking up and doing something the players want improved (i.e. starport waits and cm balance) instead of meandering aimlessly about updating stuff very few people use (i.e. holoemotes, ridable mounts).

It's hard to tell, since AFAIK there's no way to check the "remaining" duration on an DoT. I suppose you could test with a commando or a CM, since their DoT durations are known (to them, at least).

It is a reactive food, so you eat it after getting a DoT applied to you. It reduces the remaining time by x%, and you can apparently eat it multiple times for the same DoT, at least until you get full.

So if you had a 300s DoT on you and an empty stomach, you should be able to eat 3 dustcrepes to reduce the duration to around 130s.

I'm also not sure whether it works on all active DoTs, or just one.

True, there is no way of checking to see if its working

but when you use it when you currently have a DOT used on you, you will see a message that says

x % of remaining DOT time reduced

or something close to that effect
