When creating a chat channel, do the other peeps you invite to join it have to be on the same planet, or does the invite work for anywhere in the galaxy?

They can join from anywhere as long as you make it a galaxy wide channel. If you put it in one of the planets, then only that planet (i believe).

In either case, using the standard /chat create .... will make it galaxy wide.

You can have other /join it or something? Please help!
