Thread: Ubese shirts decaying on test center?

I can understand ubese shirts decaying as clothing (they ought to have some form of decay)... but decaying as armour would be plainly crap as they have no resists.
Since they also don't count as a hit location, ubese shirts wouldn't ever get hit by anything, so the decay must be referring to them as a clothing-type decay.

as they count as light armour ... they should have an effect regarding the AP value of a weapon. For everyAR levelyou are below the AP of a gun, the guns damage gets multiplied by 1.25 ... for every level of AR you are above the weapons AP you divide the damage in two. So somewhere they should have an effect.

AR = Armour Resist ... None, light, medium, Heavy
AP = Armour Penetration ... None, light, medium, Heavy

What does that have to do with ubese shirts at all?
There are only certain places where you can take damage (chest, head, biceps, forearms, hands, feet, legs, etc) which is translated into one of the corresponding HAM pools. There is no "shirt" value (where the ubese shirt is equipped) so it isn't possible for it to ever absorb damage even though it has no stats. And if it can't absorb damage, then it can't decay like normal armor. Just because something is classified as armor doesent mean it will decay like it. So naturally the ubese shirt will only suffer decay when you die like clothing, and not during combat.

Certain types of clothing can use up armour slotsfor example theSpecial Ops Duster will use up Chest, Biceps, Forearms and the duster doesn't get hit as it is kept "outside" of the hits orignored and then there is the ubese jacket which cover three armour zones, the torso and biceps ... So Iwas under the impressionthat you effectively ignored the layers and counted whatever was relative in that zone. For example ... if you got hit in the torso ... what ever acted as armour on the torso counted regardless of which layer it was on.
I take it someone has tested this kind of thing?
