Thread: Can't get another quest in the village

So I finally got to the village. I did the quest for Whip to rescue the 5 villagers and completed it. Then I talked to the village elder and picked the option to defend the village and he told me to talk to Captain Sarguillo and the Captain says I am involved in a task for another villager, which I am not. My force journal has no active quests in it. What gives, anyone have any idea what I can do or what is wrong?

Only 1 mission per phase
Each phase is 3 weeks
So you can only do 1 mission every 3 weeks

ya same thing happend to me this sucks i really think SOE just did that so they can make us play longer to try to hold us out till JTL and expansions since they know we are desperate there hanging the carrot from the stick.

that or to try and stop a FLOOD of new jedi.
as it is right now a bunch of people are gonna hit jedi (the 5 &6 unlockers from pre-10)
then 3 weeks later all the folks who had 4 unlocks
then 3 weeks later etc etc
this way you dont suddenly have a gazillion jedi running about.
THATS why it takes 3 weeks per phase & 6 phases to become jedi.
and for the record, im not a huge hologrinder thinking the non-grinders are whiny. i did 3 holos, i get 1 unlock, i still gotta go thru 5 phases my self. such is life.

You only did part I of the quest. Go talk to the original quest giver and finish out all the quests.

I did 4 holos, knew what my fifth was (bio-eng) then had my silent after that. I got 0 unlocks. How many total professions did you do?

Yeah it dawned on me only one quest per phase of the village about 20 mins after my post, I was dissapointed at 1st but I got 12 FS skill boxes so happier hehe. NOw to go grind out unarmed xp for days and days hehe...

It's probably going to take you the good part of three weeks to get the experience to convert to FS experience to get the branch anyway. Not much of a gate if you think about it.

Knowing now that you can only do one mission per cycle I would of liked them to be a bit harder.
I did the patrol mission and it was very easy to get through unbuffed... By the way, I noticed most players were buffed and docs buffing at the village too. Must of been even more boring for them.
I know SOE wants to make it hard to unlock your FS branches or at least make it so you can't do at all in a few days or weeks.
But I feel it's to restrictive to only be able to do one mission per village cycle, especially if the missions are this easy to do.
I hope the next phase is more challenging.
