*New Profession*

Soldier:

If this profession is chosen no other professions may be chosen at same time. You start out relatively tough. You are supplied with armor, weapons, supplies. (Varies between factions) If soldier is dropped you can keep one "keepsake" item.

*Imperial Soldiers (ST’s)*

Can search people for contraband and in some instances scan for coverts, but only is in uniform. Once person is given tef if they beat the "soldier" or escape the soldier can put a bounty contract on them. Only one contract at a time however, only when one is completed may another be put out. Special chat channel. High enough soldiers can call in airstrikes, AT-ST’s, NPC troops etc.

But only one at a time and for a cost of points depending on rank. Soldier can only check a person once a day for contraband. [to stuff a sock in the people that would yell, "but what about griefers!!"]

*Rebel Troops*

Speeder sabotage: can place a bomb on imperials speeder, covert or overt imperial speeders. Bomb will incap player, but only hurts speeder a fraction. Bomber automatically gets tef to every surrounding covert. On the upside the Bomber can place the bomb and get way out of town before she blows. Tef is 10min. Small amount of points are given for successful incap and a multiplyer if you manage to get the death blow. Only one bomb per person being attacked a day, again to prevent griefing.

(Could go great with smuggler revamp, smugglers could find bombs and disarm them, high enough smugglers can have a chance finding owner on bomb and allowing for bounty on that person.)

Rebel soldiers can jump "storm trooper players" as long as they are in at least 25% rebel armor. If in full rebel armor covert imperials can jump a soldier, but soldier gets 3 sec warning that "covert is jumping them" and soldier has automatic 50% less damage taken from citizens that jump them, covert citizens at least. In some instances with rebel troopers they can pay high level rebel BH’s to put hits on "troublesome" covert imperials.

FOR NEUTRAL PLAYERS THAT WANT THE SOLDIER EXPERIENCE

THUG Profession:

Pick pocketing skill, gives tef to pick pocketed person, only a certain percent of money taken based on level. And the only way to level is to pick pocket so the pick pocketer will be getting a tef for little or no credits and risking themselves more that what’s its worth in most instances.

STICKY fingered people, the klepto’s out there will have automatic tef to overt imperials and soldier class. If killed while tef’ed from stealining amount of money takin is giving back to killer and victim.

All thug’s will have instant marauder faction and can buy special armor and marauders to help them, if you attack marauders or thugs in front of them you get tef to them. Marauders have special bonuses with melee and pistols. Can only go smuggler, pistoleer, unarmed, or one handed along with thug profession.

--------------------- ----------------- ----------------- ------------- -------------- ----------- ---------- ---------- ------------- ----------- ------- – -----

*Speeder Revision*

Lets face it speeders are dull, reminds me of those quarter rides in front of walmart for lil’ kids. Sure they are great to get around fast, but there are no real vehicle feels to them.

ADD

*Turbo’s

*Vehicle Emotes

*Sound Effects (horns etc.)

*Race weapons:::

Gravity mines, pulls speeder to them in a race, pausing them briefly.

Actual "bumping" physics so people can nudge foward or bump someone out of control.

Smoke screens

EMP darts

Vertical Thrusters

*PvE Weapons::

Tow Rope, can wrap big game up for temporary imobilazation and defense down on animal.

*Jet packs

BH’s get 50% bonus versus jedi when using jetpack and jetpack weapons.

BH’ get 25% bonus versus hits when using jetpack and jetpack weapons.

-------- --------------- ----------------- ---------------------- — ------ ------ ---- -------- ------- --------------- --------------- ------ ----------

*Medic/Doctor/CM

1 to 3% Healing efficiency/heal range/heal speed every so many points of experience. In Other words no cap level for medical professions. (NOT BUFFING STATS) The experience limit for each extra percent should be ridiculously high, in order not to get people to grind to get a fraction bit better. But to promote medics to go out in the field and heal people, and make them more defined parts of groups. As of right now they have no incentive to go out, they just sit in town and heal people, which has to get boring when you know all the healing will never make a difference.

*Chef Addition

*Brew master tree:::

Able to make strong drinks ( I never played EQ, but I watched my friend get drunk on it, and it seemed like a cool thing) So basically bring EQ drinking system over to SWG. DRUNKENESS CAN EFFECT % success of pickpocket.

------------- --------------------- -------------- ---------------- --------------- -------------------- ------- --------- ------- ------- --------- -------- --------- -------- -------

*Mini-Games

Everyone knows mini-games are fun and can keep you playing a game even longer that you normally would. So in fact this idea would make you more money SOE, so listen up. The casina games need to be more interactive and visual, its not very fun to see things pop up on the screen telling you whats happening, people want to see the wheel actually spin! They want to see the slot machines line up etc.

Also the addition of little card games like Passac, I think that’s how ya spell it (KOTOR) would be great for cantina’s. Not only should you add NPC’s with it, you should allow players to "connect" to each other and play rounds, thus filling the cantina’s more, adding to the enjoyment of the game to entertainers and the people playing the games.

I don’t have to explain more about mini games cause you should get the point. But there should also be a cheating option once you reach a certain level in mini-games, but you get a tef if caught cheating.

*Militia

Now the militia is a real laugh. We can ban people from town. Whooptie-damn-do, and that still doesn’t work right. Militia Leader has no special abilities really either, to set him apart from other militiamen. Nothing ever attacks town, Maulers could attack Nabooian towns, Jedi could attack Dantooine towns, etc etc. Worst of all we can not tef people anymore. I heard a story of why they took that out. Someone said a town near a POI would kill anyone that flew into it. Well boys and girls, its pretty simple, YOU DON’T FLY INTO THAT TOWN!! Sure it’s a little less convienent to sneak around the town to get to POI, but thus adds to the roleplay once again.

Now I have been playing games all my life, and I can tell you devs right now, video games have started getting more and more cry babies, you know the people that invented words like, noob, griefer, lamer, etc. YOU NEED TO STOP APPEASING THEM. Just because they went to a town and got killed and that put them 5 min behind getting a POI badge doesn’t mean STRIP THE MILITIA of all fun!!! Now don’t get me wrong I know there are those people that bend the rules and ruin the enjoyment of games, and for that reason, we also need a strong militia!! For instance, our city of Skyfar, on Naboo (bloodfin) Has had its crafters being attacked lately, and our militia can do nothing really, its STUPID. We are like the kids in highschool that could give detention slips, yea sure it may have meant something but you usually just pushed them aside and laughed.

FINAL NOTE (for now)

You DEV’s want people to keep playing your game so you can keep making money but yet you don’t have anything really worth stayin’ for once your maxed out. No veteran benefits, no need for militia and the list goes on and on. If you would just look at the little things, it could change so much.
