Thread: Someone with Village Knowledge help me with simple question

I qualify for Combat Prowess Novice...who do I learn it from? Another player? None of the NPC's seem to offer it. Also, I did 2 holo profs and I seem to get nothing for it...is that right? THanks.

Talk to Noland, a Trandoshan near one of the entances.
Oh, and I think 2 holo profs gets you absolutley nothing from what I've heard.

ugh...I had read that if you had 3 profs left then you got 3 unlocks...if you had 2 profs left you got 4 unlocks and so on. Unlocks being the FS trees of course...or you got the xp for 4 trees rather. Then I got to the village...nothing. These numbers are staggering, the xp needed. I guess it's back to the grind for everyone...I don't usually complain about the devs and generally I dislike all the negativity on the forums...but they've brought back massive grinding.

Well, the thing to remember about holo credit is that you needed to have hit atleast three holo profession to get any credit. Since 3+5 = 8 and they said that in the end the number of Silent holocrons was 4, or even 5.
You need to get enough exp to master any given profession 30 times it seems. So happy grinding.

That's so crazy...that's almost worse than before, because at least before when you were grinding out other professions you were experiencing (sort of) a bunch of different facets to the game. Now every cave will be camped and all the crafters will be indoors grinding. I don't know if this was the best way to go. I mean, I love the idea of the quests, and I like the village and everything up until needing what...about 30million xp from fighting? Yikes
