Thread: only 1 quest per phase?

So we have 4 phases and 4 'potential' quests per phase. However, in production on Bloodfin, you can only take one of the quests at a time. The other quest givers say that I am too busy helping other villagers when I have completed the entire quest cycle for the one villager I started with.

If that is by design, that is not a good thing because they added a time component to the grind. Sure it takes you time to grind, but there has been an additional amount of time added to the game intentionally.

This additional time component, if it is not a bug, is troubling indeed.

Perhaps you have to complete one line first before you can move on.

yep it sucks only 1 mission per phase and each phase takes 3 weeksmy main problem is in phase 4 there is 3 skills i want meaning i would have to wait for 3 full rotations which is equal to 36 weeks

Bothans are rarer than jedi
that makes me sad =o

I wonder if people are even realizing this yet? The devs pushed this phase thing through TC so fast that I don't think people realized what was happening to them with the abbreviated time schedule.

What annoys me is that the Devs made the way to be Jedi almost close *gasp* Roleplaying. And then they put tons of Roleplaying and quests in the path to be Jedi. And then they deny you from doing the other quests. Logic would be that you can do the toher quests, but can't unlock any more than one branch per phase.

They did this so they can hang on to the player base to tie you guys over till JTL expansion they know you want Jedi badly so they continue to hold the carrot on the stick to tease you while they try to bring in as much $$$ profit from your paying accounts.

I would be fine with this method IF we could choose which branch we wanted to unlock each time. I'm fine with one branch at a time, this will prevent a rush of a million jedi right now, but I don't see why we can't choose what branch we want to unlock during each phase. I took a branch that I ultimately don't want for phase one just because there really isn't anything I want for this phase, and I'm going to have to do the same thing when it comes around again. This means if a want skills I can actually use I have to go through 8 phases = 24 weeks = 5 1/2 months to get the branches I want. Then if I decide to become jedi which I'm still undecided about that'll be another grind for months on top of that. If I want a jedi that can do anything it'll be close to a year to get. I have to hand it to SOE they sure know how to lock their player base down.
