I just bought a new set of chest/boots/helmet/gloves. I heard that if i put on a bicep my other uncoveredbody parts will be vulnerable. is that true???

Currently, chest/helm/gloves/boots will cover all your armor protection needs. Adding a bicep won't make the other exposed areas of your skin vulnerable to armorless attack, rather it'll decrease the odds of a random pool attack from hitting any given piece of armor from 1/4 to 1/5.

As far as i can tell, chest/helm/gloves/boots are the onyl required, but if you wear more, the decay from damage gets divided a little more.

Just a thought, but you may want to include a pair of pants for PvP. I have not tested this, but it is possible that using Leg Shot will target the unprotected legs. But, I have not PvP'd in some time so I can not confirm this.
