Thread: Swoops on autopilot?

Hi everyone,

I've noticed on occasion that my character will start moving after i target something, without using the "follow" command, and continues moving even after I have unclicked the mouse button.

I don't know exactly how to reproduce it, but I was wondering if there is any way to do this on a vehicle, especially when having to travel great monotonous distances to oft-visited waypoints. As the title suggests, I would like to put my swoop on autopilot. Does anyone know how this is done?

press the foward directional key and then press "num lock"

this will make you travel foward in a straight line and you can leave it going while you do something or just use the mouse to steer leaving you with one hand free to type messages or whatever

I love your signature, especially since you didn't even know about the autorun/autoswoop feature.

There's also another weird bug with having windows open causing the swoop to take off and follow the mouse icon.

I found it useful to rebind my autorun key to the right mouse button, so 1 click to run, 1 click to stop. Saves my wrinkly old fingers

I rebound my mouse wheelclick to autorun. So I can use right click to run as normal and when I push in my mouse wheel it autoruns. (everyone knows the wheel clicks, don't they?) It's a useful binding, especially when you havea mousewith only 2 buttons.

Some of my pet peeve bugs:
•Armorsmith protection layers were not converted with the CU.
•Ship Details window does not close when you click "Travel" resulting in the message "You have lost the target. Closing interface."

therees a bug i use also where you hold down the run button, hold the pointer over something on your HUD,let go,and then your char will follow the mouse pointer, useful when you need to swerve such as dodging aggressive things

Speaking of autopilot, it would sure be neat if you could plot a path of waypoints to have your vehicle follow.

That would sure make the long trips across Dathomir a little less tedious.

...as long as you could override it when you see a cluster of Nightsisters in your path.
