the scatter should generally be the better pistol.. unless the weapon smith your looking at just happened to have better resources for a dx2, than scatters.

At the very least, I think you'll find that the DX2 has a lower min damage typically. I love my scatters, it's all I use unless it's modified repub for the extra bleed, or geo becuase I need stun.

Apologies if this a really obvious question.
The Scatter is usually a little more damaging and a little faster than the DX2 (although not much). The DX2 is typically much more accurate than the scatter. Otherwise, they're pretty much the same. I always used the DX2 until I had Krayt Scatters made.

Its in the title really ...
As a novice BH, I am certified for the hairdrier. er , scatter pistol. But to me it seems the DX2 is very similar, Acid, armour piercing etc. But generally it seems that the DX2 is a better pistol than the Scatter. So, am I missing something? Why use a scatter? Does the Scatter do anything other than let ppl know I'm a BH?
