Thread: New NPC Quests?

In front of Coronet Starport I noticed 3 NPCs yesterday with the rotating blue/white "I" above their head, indicating the would have something to tell or maybe a mission. One was a merchant, the other 2 were shipwrights. When talking to the shipwrights, they complained, that the merchant was selling ship parts he wouldn't have, while the merchant asked me, if I knew, why his delivery was delayed. I received no mission and I couldn't figure any hint about a quest (like, where to go to next to help them out). Does anybody know something about it?
At Dantooine Mining Outpost there were 3 Pilots, a Reb, an Imp and a neutral. I wanted to talk to them, but my Internet connection broke and I couldn't get it to work then.
I'm not looking for a walkthrough, but beforeflying through the whole galaxy,it would be nice to know, whether these are some kind of quests or just some "content", that they tell you something and that's it then.

Outside the Theed Starport there is a Mon Cal and his Protocol droid. There are also NPCs similar to this almost everywhere in the NPC cities.
It seems once JTL went live, they just added these NPCs to add little stories to read.
I think it would be neat if they turned them into JTL Mission givers, but, as of now they don't give missions.

I'venoticed this Fish and his Tin Can already for someweeks, but I can't remember seeing these 3 guys in front of Coronet SP earlier.

They've always been there since JTL went live. probably never spotted them because of the large player population in coronet on most servers.
There's a red Twilek in a green body suit outside Moenia.
Mos Entha has a Valarian Pilot and a Hutt Pilot trying to convince you to join their factions.
One outpost has an imperial officer and an imperial pilot in a TIE suit.
All of these JTL NPCs have been around since it went live, and were also in JTL Beta. They just have little cinversations they say, and that's really all they do at this point.

Ok, thanks anyway. I still dream of getting loads ofinteresting missions from guys like them one day.

Same here. i'd love to see little mini theme-park type missions from these guys, where you do a series of missions for them, that sort of revolve around a story about the NPC, and then you'd get credits, or some sort of reward for completing the mission.
More missions to run in space is always welcomed. 
i'm currently working on the Yavin missions for the Devorian guy running the Yavin Space Station.
if you haven't tried these missions yet, head to the space stations, and /comm the station. some of the space stations have missions you can run. i finished up 2 or 3 Naboo station missions, and now they just send me on destroy Duty Missions in Lok space.
