I went and talked to to this Idoa Osatidwa (an Imperial Army Captain), who hangs just outside the bank justin front of the spaceport, in Bestine.He told me that there "is a small band of Rebels that have set up camp nearby" andcharges me with the duty of doing a bit of recon there.Cpt. Osatidwahands me the waypoint, and lets me knowthey rebelssmall in numbers, and should be easily handled.

Boy. He wasn't kidding about the "easily handled" part. Sure missed out on the small in numbers though - I count a little over 20 skeletons lying about in a rebel base turned to rubble. Due to the extent of the damage, I'm guessing a band of TKAs came before me, or the Imperial army voted for an orbital strike against the camp..

Either way.. I'm standing here, in the middle of the camp (the waypoint disappeared as I came close, letting me know that I had arrived at the location I was sent to). I'm pretty sure these rebels aren't getting up- it's been an hour already (I'm an avid fan of crossword puzzles and watching them hayballs rolling around in the desert, and I have time to waste by the bucketload), and there's been no undead activity. I've walked around the base, not straying out too far.. and the last time -or two- that I tried, I came back after 15 minutes or so, to have the Army Captaingive me the same speach and send me to the same spot.

Anyone know what's the deal here? I've neverdone recon missions before, but I figure if something should've happen, it would've happened already, no? What am I missing here? I'm just getting the feeling this just isn't a mission at all...

If im not mistaken, the waypoint that he gives you is to a POI ( point of intrest) the destroyed base was once an active rebel base with loads of rebel NPCs in it. But once people started farming the base, the devs decided to move it. Its now on rori i beleave, so what you saw was just the old destroyed base. There really is no mission. He is just there to give players a clue as to the wearabouts of a rebel base.

I know what you're talking about. I've sent a few tickets and bug reports over the months about the npc and his buggy missions, no fix. -yet.
