Thread: recently came back to the game, need clues

I've just recently come back to SWG after after a year off for school and such. But, I find that it is a very different game now, what with the CU and all.
I find myself with only casual time to play, so I don't have the luxury of waiting around for a group every time I play.
My character (a commando 1-1-0-4, master marksman, brawler 4-0-0-0) is level 29 (not sure even how that is figured).
I'd like to find a place to play that will support solo when I have to, but won't get me killed because every mob between me and my mission is level 50+.
I've looked and looked until my finger is numb, but I can't find any kind of post-CU guide for what general levels the various planets are. Any clues to where I can go?
When I was playing in '04, I played on Dathomir a lot, but I spent lots of time waiting for a group to form. I don't have that time to waste now.
Just to be clear; I don't want to be strictly solo, its just that limited time tends to limit group play.
I also find thatmost my weaponry is useless to me. I've got an acid streamer, but at close range it blinds me too. My other weapons outrank me (by a lot!)
The armor does not spam the combat channel anymore?
And, I can't find anyone making assault armor. (I play on Eclipse) I've checked three planets so far, and only found scout or battle armor.

well I really dont know where is the best place for solo exping, but i suggest you go to Dantoine MO, there is hunting group almost everytime so you should be able to do level 80 fast. And to find armors, use bazaar and vendor search.. Its new feature that allows you to find items in vendors so you should be able to find armor you like easily. Wish you good luck!
