Yeah so I drag things into the hotkey bar and when I press the button that corresonds with that hotkey it doesa totally different action!

The only thing I can think of that might have happened is I was messing around with different keyboard controls going between starwars, mmorpg, and **edit** on the old buttons and I cant change them. It still keeps performing the old actions even though I have the new buttons in the hotkeybar. Any help to resolve this would be great. Thanks.

When you press a fuction button, it should activate the macro in the slot showing on the button bar. However you can stretch it into 2 rows fo buttons the same way you would strech any of the pop-ups windows. Then when youhold the Shift key witha Function key, you active the macro on the lower row.

There is a bug where the game thinks the Shift key is still depressed when it is not. Pressing Shift and a Fuction key usually clears this problem.

If you have only one bar showing, are the old macros you spoke of on the next button bar below this one?

anyone able to figure out how to keep your hotkey setup after you log?

i was able to set up my hotkey the way i wanted, when i log out and then back in all my hotkey setup was gone and i had to spend another 10-20mins resetting them again.

It's a bug... so dont beat your brain about it, we just have to wait until they fix it.

Zeon, have you gone into the Options and restored defaults? I had the same problem once and this helped me.

If your hotkeys are not saving, or if other window options dont save you are probably not loging out correctly. If you Crash or LD you will often lose some settings. If you /quit you will often lose things. Always sit down and use /logout to ensure you get out correctly.

Zutan,

I'm always either typing /logout in the Cantina, or going to the options window and selecting Quit Game, and yet I have to rebuid my hotkey bar every time I log in again.
