Long story short 2-3 days left for my respec and started new character so praying to god I can find out what 2 elite profs are fastest to master so i can respec to the template I desire. I know its probably not the most popular question to ask but with just the few days remaining I would deeply apprecaite any assistance in my current endeavor. If it is not possible to master 2 in such a short time it would still be amazingly helpful to get even 40 or 50 so its lets MO dant grinding for me, after 2 years of playing i earned this one easy way out i think

Thanks again everyone

Well to gain the fastest Xp group with mid to high levels and go grinding on Dathomir. The fastes I have seen is the ranged weapons trees. Now the combat XP is a little slow but if you use nothing but your weapon...no healing...no trapping...just shooting and killing then you should rank fast....also have someone in the group be a Master..you will still need to pay for the novice but other than that you should be fine.

However I dont think it will happen in 2 days...unless you are going to not sleep and just grind like a Jedi on at the village. It would have been easier if double XP was going on but that is not happening.

Rangers lead the way.

A Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air. I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier.

Because of the CL system there is no longer such a thing as a "quick profession to master". Your XP gain does directly depend on your CL so the higher your CL the better the XP. You can, however, use the CL system to your advantage (to a limited extent). The "advantage" lies in picking up any and all boxes that give you a CL. No matter what final template you are aiming for you should definitely get as much of Scout as possible (all except for the trapping line). You should also get Novice CH (since it only requires scouting XP) ASAP.

It's extremely simple, really. Kill for the type of weapons XP you need and get as many scout-related boxes as possible. The mid level grind is the worst, i.e. after you have gotten novice of a combat profession. The system is now designed so you basically have to kill approximately 100 "units"of a creature to get one box. The grind will get a lot more "pleasant " once you have mastered an elite profession (i.e. at CL 50+)but be prepared for a boring and slow mid-level grind. It's just the way the CL system works. Nothing to speed it up or make it easier.

try image designer. It's the quickest proffesion to master and you can use it's respec points to master a combat proffesion.

I used the same idea but wth scouting skills. Harvesting hides, bones and meat was a quick way to gain for me to change those skills into other skills. You could also try macroed dancing AFK.

To my knowledge (unless CU changed it), ID has a 2 min timer where you have to wait until it expires before you can do your next image change....did the devs take that away in CU?

The absolute fastest professions to grind is Scout/Ranger and medic/doctor or CM. Both you need to get in a mid to high level group. Preferably a good group that knows what they are doing and don't waste time getting missions and recruiting. I'd say look for level 60+ groups. Being a low level some might reject you though, just let them know what your trying to do and there are still some nice people out there that won't mind giving 1 slot to a low level character.

The thing about scout is that in a high level group, they kill mobs in seconds and you can get loads of scout xp. At harvesting creatures 4, I think you can earn over 1k xp per kill....when you get up into ranger, you'll be flying through the xp since ranger doesn't take as much xp per box that combat professions do.

for medic xp, it's better to get into a mid level group because they will usually take a lot more damage than a high level group. High level groups will kill mobs too fast so they often don't take loads of damage. The mid level group will take damage upwards of half of their health bar or more. YOu can literally get 800 - 1k healing xp off of each person you heal during battle. Area heals like bacta spray do well for xp gains, although it can cause major lag on group members with slower CPU's. I'd ask the group if using bacta spray is a problem.Anyway, at best, if all 7 of the members in the group get hurt and you also, count about 800 xp per person, per creature you kill. That's at the best, in most cases you won't be healing the whole group every single creature. Some group members like rifleman rarely get hurt when a good tank is in the group.

About the only problem with medic/doctor/CM is that they don't gain CL the same as pure combat professions. I don't think a master doc is CL 54 at master....I may be wrong on that though. I do know that a master medic will not be CL 14 while a master marksman will be. Of course the devs could have changed that since last time I've played around with normal professions (i'm jedi now).

So for scout and medic, a group is a must to gain the fastest xp.

As for entertainer, I haven't done it post-cu, but it's still one of those professions that's time gated. Which means you may have to play all day or leave your CPU on all night to keep getting xp. Maybe CU has made xp easier on entertainer.....still it's not as fast as Scouting or medic xp.

The last thing you should keep in mind is that you don't necessarily have to become CL 80 before your respec is up. If you can manage CL 60 - CL 70. You can continue to group and grind for the remaining part of your desired template. Unless of course if your trying to respec to a crafting template, then I'd say it's a must to get CL 80 if you want to avoid the high cost of grinding resources or the time it takest to gather your own. If your gonna respec to a combat profession, then get as much xp as you can before respec and you should be good to go.

The only difference is that after your respec period is over, combat professions can still be mastered in less than a week (maybe daysif your not acasual gamer)as long as you group. Crafting professions either take loads of credits to buy resources or weeks to months to gather your own, plus it will cost you at least 100k a week, more or less, to keep your harvesters running.

Oh, sorry... d'oh... I missed the respec part of your post . The fastest professions to master would then indeed be Image Designer (best to grind with a partner for extra/double XP... you get 150XP for physical changes on yourself and 300XP if you perform the changes on a partner) and then if you have the resources Architect (Gungan heads in practice mode) and Shipwright (ship chassis in practice mode) are both very fast, too. In fact, if you have the resources then both professions should take about an hour to master. Even Image Designer will be a bit slower if you do it solo. I would not recommend the other Entertainer professions. If you have only 2-3 days then you have no chance to get the Entertainment healing XP in such a short time unless you have a guild of people who will do space suicide runs for you, i.e. go up in space, get blown up until they have massive wounds and BF and then watch/listen to you .

Not sure when they removed it but the timer is luckily gone again. I recently grinded ID for the profession badge during the post-CU respec period and you can master it very fast (must've been about 1.5 hours and I didn't push it too hard).

Ok, if the timer has been removed, then ID is definitely the fastest. however, you'd still need to get another profession to get enough elite points to respec to something else. ID alone won't get it done. So I'd say do ID and scout/ranger then.
