Once you finish the padawan trials you get your second character slot

Once that's done, can you give up Padawan?

Really, I know it might sound outrageous - but I don't necessarily want to become a Jedi with my main. A fighter with force-sensitive abilities, surely... but I'm not sure I want the whole Jedi thing.
