Thread: No attack by the Sith yet? Well here is what you do...

well apparently player cities are counting as 'wilderness' as alot of people are reporting they are getting attacked getting off shuttles, and the old man is showing up in them too, I had mine at a shuttle port on a player city on dant, and a guildie had his @ our PA on rori, waiting for sith attack now
On Farstar and I can confirm this. I was inside my house, which is near the border of a Player City. I walked outside and started looking around when the old man called on me. I was still within the borders of the city. I then waited around for a few hours, to no avail so I decided to go hurt some rancors on Dath. 4 hours later I was attacked by some Sith Pirates, and I thought "hey this it". Unfortunately my buffs died at that very moment, and there were also quite a few more Sith around me than the two that I had expected (later turns out I had wandered near a patrol waypoint and there are up to 10 at these points) I died.
After cloning I decided to go home and log off for the night. As I got to the very same point where the old man had come up to me, I was attacked by two Sith. They had 450 HAM and were dead in 1 hit each (I am TKM). I looted the disk, but was not able to read it, it kept telling me I had to loot the item before trying to use it. I moved it to my backpack and the journal updated, and I was able to read the disk. Followed WP, got to the camp , killed the 3 Sith there (2 x 450 HAM 1 x 2000HAM) and looted the next disk. Went to Dath, into the village and started on my FS quest.
maybe its because im near the border 
so far this thread hasnt been working i waited in the wild for about 30min and still nothing

I did that and it worked like a charm.
I had waited for about 24 hours, driving betveen Jabba's palace, doing quests ect but no Sith...
Then a friend told me to go and wait about 1000m or more from a city, in the wilderness and they would show up...
Well they did after 5-10 minutesI was AFK, no buffsand my 3 pets killed them both

I'll second this - my stih came about 24 hours after the old man did.Both visits where on Corellia, both in a player city (although they were different cities).
Prior to meeting the old man, and the next day the sith, I spent a lot of time hanging out on Naboo and in the player cities there. Not sure if the planet has anything to do with it, but for me the key seemed to be going to Corellia.
