You need 24 boxes in order to advance to Initiate. If they are spread through 6 branches or 12 doesn't matter.

I thought this would be a great approach for casual gamers, since the overall xp would be less for 12*2, but from everything I have read on the boards, it is not the case. You need to complete 6 branches to advance.

Sorry but you are incorrect. Ask any Jedi how they have their FS skills. You must have 6 branches of 4 boxes. Not just 24 boxes at random.

Yeah - flame the devs for everything actually - Flame them for not allowing you to 'work' the system by putting in less work for less xp that would be required to get 12*2 boxes, but still expecting the same outcome.

Grinding is good, Grinding is fun.....grinding makes you a better person.

Did you ever stop to think about the fact that the 12*2 method, while requiring less grinding (which obviously must make you unworthy), would also stretch out the process from 18 weeks to 36 weeks?
