Thread: How to get Quick unamred xp
When I was going for commando, I had wonderful job of working my way up to unarmed IV. This was tough, and I had an easier time mastering marksman. But I learned a very nice way to get unarmed xp quick and easy.
It all starts with a simple bleed. It works best if you can stack some bleeds on the target. For me I used HeathShot 1 and HealthShot 2. This would bleed a creature about 1,500 health a min. Now when you bleed your target, it does not count towards any type of xp. So you shoot your bleed shots, and unequip your blaster before any other shots are made. I would run up and punch a target one time and run away as fast as I could. (when running make sure you are still in range to get xp when the creature dies). Now all you do is wait for the creature to bleed to death. After the creature dies, all the xp you receive is unarmed. I did this to dews (1,600xp), Mountain worts (1,500xp) and greater desert womp rats (1,200xp). All of the creatures were coned red to me.
With this little trick, I got unarmed maxed out in 6 hours. Hope this helps some people out.

Don't forget to visit Nimh's Stims, located one quick burst run west of Mos Eisley. Some of the most powerful stimb's in the game are available.
the unarmed branch was the only thing preventing people from becoming commandos. everyone and their mom willbe commando now.![]()
If you are going to be a commando, here is another tip. Make sure to be a pistoleer!
When you first start out as a commando, you are going to really stink with the Flame Thrower and with the Acid Rifle. You are almost guarenteed to miss 4 out of every 5 shots. Which means your gonna die! So you are going to need to use the Launcher pistol. The damage and speed isn't the greatest with the launcher pistol, but you will be able to use all of your pistol skill with it. Basicly you will have the same bonuses with the Launcher pistol that you would with an FWG5 or Scout. And you will also be able to use your "Health Shots" and your "BodyShots" This helps a lot with taking out some of the big creatures that will give you 2,000+ XP.
I wish all of you comandos luck, and if you stick with it, you can do it!

Very interesting. As a someone new to the Smuggler class, I can understand the pain of earning Unarmed 4 ( I camped out easy thug spawn sites in low populated cities, thin them out with weapon fire first till there is one, then each time you Loot All on one, a new thug will spawn)
I dont know whether to hate you for earning Unarmed so easy or hate myself for not having thought it first hehe. jk
Hello,
I figured i'd throw in a little help in regards to earning Xp for unarmed. Right now I am a TerasKasi artist, which was a very rewarding journey. The best way I found to gain XP was just doing missions. I was on Tatooine and would just pick up missions, kill the creatures outside their lair, punch the lair once, and wait for the next creature(s) to come out. Once all or most of the creatures are disposed destroy the lair for a good amount of XP. I was able to actually pick up a good few thousand unarmed XP, just from one mission. Than after you are done with your two missions, find something elseclose by to destroy next (as long as it's not someone elses mission). On Tatooine thecreatures that I found to give good unarmed xp wereprobablyrockmites, womp rats, diseased lesser bocatt's, zucca boars, CuPa's or pretty much anything blue to white. Even travelling out to Tusken in a large group could be benificial if you play it smart and make sure you are sticking with the group. Once you get up the unarmed branch of Brawler it is a really rewarding experience because you know you worked hard for it. I am definatly not saying that ranged fighters do not work hard for their XP, considering i'm training with the Pistol at the moment. I'm just saying that during your experiences with unarmed combat you tend to get Incapped and dealt a lot of punishment, but the experience is definatly worth it.
I guess this post is more for the beginner's in SWG, so good luck and Have fun.
Thank you,

actually i found this beinga lot faster using laser rifles and distracting shot 1. find some feral banthas who will die from 2 or 3 bleeds depending upon the bleed. 950 xp of your choice (also works with carabine etc) when ungrouped (11xx when grouped with a droid or pet) as long as there are ferals and you have enough mind.

I had this trouble. I need just under 40k for Unarmed IV and I went to Mos Eisley near the cantina where the Jabba swoop team hand out and also spice fiends. I got my near 40k in under 3 hours.

I have a tip that is probably pretty well known, it is this:
Use a fast pair of knucklers... Yes i know we are not Certified to use them but that does not matter, what matters is the speed. I was dealing insane amounts of damage with a pretty standard, not that good pair of knucklers from expert unarmed and on through master. I was uncertified but did more damage and did it faster than if i unequipped them. I guess this come from the fact that UA damage stacks with the damage of our knucklers. Even though we are not certified we still get some extra damage, and the speed is unaffected i think.
This got me much faster through the UA tree than before. Just Use them with Berserk an you are set =)
Happy hunting and hope it helps someone.
eehrr, sorry i think i should point out that "insane amounts of damage" was only in comparison to what i did unarmed at that level. I wasnt really doing INSANE amounts of damage... you have to missunderstand me right... =D
I think best thing to do is mass kill 100xp creatures or low lvl..
low lvl = no downtime from accidental hits from tuff mob.
alot out there = alot of xp.
time to kill low lvl is seconds...
TIME IS KEY FACTOR HERE....not high xp.....
try this and u will see...
