Thread: Need help with HK

Hi right now me and my group are doing the hk mission. We have killed the commander and the army. Occaisonaly new spawns arrive but what else do we do? We got a glowy eye ehats that for?




The initial post I wrote was thrown together while we were fighting so sorry about the typos )



Im pulling my hair out over the droid engineer. The last time we took him on we very very nearly beat him. After our last encounter it seems like you need two people tanking the droid spawns while killing the lairs. The rest of the group kills the DE.


The last time we all destroyed the lairs, then the spawns, then the DE. What happens is that new lairs appear and more spawns arrive until your over run. Despite this the DE only had a quarter of his health. Thats why I think you only need two people (mdef) to keep the spawns busy while the rest kill him.



One thing we did find useful was to keep a doc hiding in the coridor before you enter the room. He only came out when someone needed a rez. He managed to save quite a few of us before he was killed.

OK thank you someone knows where the freakin factory is how do i start this quest, i need a loot part from one of the droids!!! thanks

lol just completed it. Ill write up a guide the method we used made it very easy to defeat the army.

thanks much man, ive been trying to find out how to get into the army place so i can get my warmly glowing sensor jam for the obsidion pike schem lol.

i found after the encounter with the driod army your quest sends u back to a second instance a the decrepit factory and let me say this.... its definately no joke, without haveing anyone that has been through already makes it tough.. some tough encounters and alot of puzzles under pressure.We didnt get that part completed although we made it to the master DE. im definately interested to hear if anyone has made it farther on live yet and would love to see any tips they might have.This quest line has been awsome and im very interested to experience the rest.

what are the best professions to use for this quest?? and should the groups split up in there or stay together?

yeah, wasnt to hard, we knocked it out pretty easy, 4 guys and a LE droid, pretty funny heh, one of the greatest things to do in the game, was quite fun.

Here's what to do. Get your defender to attack the DE and stay far back and the rest of the group in the corner. This way the Defender (melee, Jedi, etc) gets the ranged aggro of the Blastromechs/assassins/etc. Everybody AOE and concentrate of healing the Defender (multiple people heal so nobody generates too much heal hate). Then when Fixer spawns, have one person attack him who can handle him while everybody else kills the droid minions. The combined firepower of the minions > Fixer One. However, we keep getting killed by the reactor at the final part. We even tried having each person focus on 1 Hand of Doom and we cant kill quick enough. We think the trick is to get aggro quick of the 3 who activate, the everybody piles on one of them. After you clear out 3 of one side, it just gets easier from there. Gonna try after our lockout (horrible idea BTW - lockout... sheesh.)
