Hi guys

I'm working on get a few schematics done, and in my trade forum i ask for a 12 point artisan to give me a hand. A guy hits me up saying he has the FS crafting, i respond with "i heard that does not give you the extra 2 points. This is the message i got back. Please post comments.

"I think you need to do a lot more research before you say something you have no idea about.

The Force Sensitive skill in the "Crafting Mastery" give you four lines of boxes just like a regular profession.. The four lines are Force Experimation (if you have all four boxes +20), Force Assembly (all four boxes +20), Force Repair (all four boxes +20), and Force Techniques (all four boxes give you +5 against critical failure) these are points USED IN ANY CRAFTING PROFESSION..

Since I these boxes right off the bat I have
+20 Expermintation
+20 Repair
+ 20 Assembly
+5 Against Critical Failure

Those are points ABOVE what I have from being a MASTER ARTISAN

Do more research before you tell someone what skill points they have, I have the boxes completed and I know what points they give and don't give.. Plus if you have been to the village you can pull up the "Crafting Mastery" box in your "ALL PROFESSIONS Tab" and veiw it for yourself.."

You are correct.... FS "Experimentation" give NO extra experimentation points...... only better expermentation results from the experimentation points you already have.

Originally.... it was supposed to give extra points..... but crafters cried for a nerf, saying it was already hard enough to compete against 12-pt crafters.... and 14-pt crafters would be impossible to compete with for market share (so it was nerfed before it ever went live)

Yea that guy is wrong. According to the description of the Experimentation line of the Crafting Mastery FS tree, it only increases your chances of getting amazing successes when you experiment.
