A week or so ago, I saw on forums somewhere a posting of a macro and the list of components needed to make an aquarium. I've got a small one setup, but this one was a fairly large one. I was just wondering if anyone knew which post I was talking about or knows the macro.
I have looked through forums and searched for aquarium and all other combinations, so I appologize if I missed it and would appreciate any help you can offer

Not to be rude but have you seen what he's done? It's a revolution to those who can get the macros right. I can sell a set of furniture in a backpack now and inform the buyer that I'll e-mail the set up macro to them later for a custome piece. You really ought to check this out. Oh, heres a few clickies for ya.

I think you need to go back to your psychological analytical stuff Alila for your little signature
. Anyways I do have to agree that an aquarium macro really isn't necessary when ya just need like 40 pieces for the base, stuff for plants, then hire yo self a fisherman to donate fish to your stuff.

er... hi! =)
<3 Adamas and Cigaran (even though you thought I was a guy
)
Thismight be a nutzoid waste of time... but it's fun, I swear.
There is nothing like the feeling of raw power while you are watching a pile of items automatically go scooting across the floor to conform themselves to your will.Sure ittakes hours to carefully plot out their path and final position, but once you finish the macro and see it work it's worth it. I can install a fireplace likethis onein 5 minutes.
I'm currently working on a macro to build a smallish (36 item) fishtank... and I already have a macro that builds the outside of a much larger tank... but it only builds the outside. The rocks/plants/fish I will always improvise in this large tank because I want them to look different. (and they'd be hell to macro... you can't even target the fish properly because of how they are named)
In some cases writing the macro as you make something can actually save you some time while you are firstbuilding it... especially if the design is geometrical like this chandelier or this imperial symbol. I basically only had to write one sixth of these macros and repeat them 6 times.
I'm not posting my macros here since they are my livlihood on my server, but I will trade them to other designers in exchange for macros they wrote.
I want this to become a widespread practice. Far too many people want things like fireplaces and aquariums and the people who build them are far too few to ever have the time to respond to even a fraction of the requests.
And most of all, I want to try a macro written by someone else. Still no takers.
