GO! GO! TEAM THRAX!

(Which admittedly only really makes sense if you've been within earshot of us racing on Chimaera.)

So, to bring things back on topic...

"Swoop racing has been around since the second swoop was built" is one of the best SWG quotes I've read. I may even put it in my signature.

So when do Endor, Yavin and the two D's get their tracks?

EDIT: Seeing as this thread is about RACING, wouldn't the posts calling '1st', '2nd' and '3rd' actually be APPROPRIATE? Counter-5-starred.

EDIT: Page displays properly in IE but not Firefox

EDIT 2(I swear this is my last): Nice way to put the DEVs and mods into the game.

Very nice TH.


Personally I LOVE doing the swoop tracks. I've done all 3 of the originals on my 4 characters, done narmle and talus on all 4, and lok on one.


2 Funny Lok Stories:

My doctor is a master doc, master rifleman. Well, I go to Lok and start the race. About 5 mintues into the race, a stormtrooper runs up and pops me off my bike for a contraband scan. I have to head back to Nyms, and once i get there, I get attacked by Nyms Guards. My doc gives up for the night.


My image designer has ZERO combat skills, period. Well, after navigating through the maze, I am more than 1/2 way done. I come across a spawn of pirates. They aggro my image designer, and knock her off her bike incapped. She gets up, and they incap her again. Gets up a again, and gets triple incapped. I proceed to clone and shuttle back to Lok (a player city cloner was the closest cloner). I log my doc in, shuttle her to lok, buff up my image designer, and throw on a full suit of comp armor. Back to business, i complete the track and end up with the best time for the day. Mission accomplished, and now i know.


Moral of the story:

You may wanna wear armor and get a buff while doing the lok marathon. My final time was in the 1600 second range. imaging racing for 1500 seconds and getting killed. only to have to do it all over again

Nice Lok course thunderheart, though until I got the badge for it, Ialwaysgot nervous every time I tried to go though the "The Labyrinth" part of the track. Though it was fun and real long, I'd only try it once a day until I got the badge due to how long itwas because I thought, well I could be soloing the Death Watch Bunker if I wasn't here..... o_O kidding.

Maybe I can help... narrative refers to a story.... flavor is something added for no reason other than to make something more interesting (as in adding salt to food, just adds "flavor" doesn't really change it.


So a flavor narrative would be a story that just adds interesting detail to something without really meaning anything. For example, see above in TH's post.
