I recently had to replace my hard drive. Fortunately I had made a complete backup 3 days before it crashed. Does anyone know if there is any way to restore all of my toolbar, keyboard, macro, etc. settings without having to do them manually? Is there a config file I can copy from my backup that would do all of this for me?

Just copy your profiles folder over and you should be good to go for the most part.

Note: I've been told by a CSR that the Profiles folder can contain corruption (sometimes) that can lead to CTDs. In that situation, I've renamed my Profiles folder to "Profiles_Old" and allowed a new one to be generated. Then, I just go back and copy my macro file and friends_info file to the proper directory and...voila!

I've had that happen if somehow the profile data became corrupted, in which case it was necessary to do as you say but assuming that everything was working normally the last time you used the profile, it will probably be ok.

Worst case scenario is that you just have to re-do all your configs the hard way if copying the profiles over causes problems.
