theres kinda a waiting list. Depending on how many Holo proffesions you grinded, the earlier you get visited once you have "The Glow". Sometimes its just random though. I've heard that some people have made the Old Man show up by logging off. He also show up after fights sometimes. Congratulations on getting "The Glow" and may the force be with you.

It mostly is random. In my guild several people have gotten visited and were at different stages. One guy got visted who got glowing after patch day BEFORE a guy who had gotten to his silent holo.

I think just get the glow, sit back, and wait.

I shuttled to a player city, ran out of the city and camped. i had to go to work then but when i logged in later on tonight the old man ran up to me right after i did the /check again.

I got the glowing crystal from him then he ran off again, im not really sure whats supposed to happen now though. because no sith came to attack me yet.

try that and see what happens, also try it in some off hours when not as many are online.
