**Begin sarcasm**
Ok here is my plan its perfect. First step is to make the requirements for the old man to visit painfully clear to everyone so everyone has a chance. At the same time, make it impossible for him to show up since we don't want too many Jedi's running around. Second step is the FS grind. Make it so a n00b can complete the grinding in a few hours, at the same time make it absolutely impossible to grind since we don't want too many Jedi's running around. Third step is to take away the forced wait between steps because we do not want to pay to have a carrot dangled in front of us, at the same time make everybody wait a long time since we don't want too many Jedi's running around. Fourth step concerns the jedi grind; make it so that the minute you unlock padawan you can spend all your points and become a Jedi Knight with no grinding because God knows we do not want to grind anymore, at the same time make the grind nearly impossible since we don't want too many Jedi's running around.
While I am at it, lets talk about Jedi "balance." Now I know Jedi's are supposed to be powerful, but c'mon man, my Master Rifleman can't kill one and I can kill everything. Please nerf Jedi!!! Concerning the whole Jedi pvp thing, I want you to make a Jedi prison and if a Jedi kills more than one person in a day the Jedi is sent to the Jedi prison where they have to sit in isolation and contemplate how unfair it is that they can unleash their Jedi powers on helpless people. Furthermore why don't you just delete 2 out of 3 player Jedis since according to the story there aren't even supposed to be any Jedis. However I want you to make an exception for me and allow me to unlock Jedi, but remember, I don't want to grind for it, you better not make me grind or I am going to quit this stupid game. I hate SOE and I hate Jedis!!!
P.S. Please let me unlock Jedi, I will roleplay him, unlike all those other powergamers who don't deserve a Jedi in the first place. I DESERVE A JEDI.
**End Sarcasm**
P.P.S. I know this isn't a game guide, but it is a tip. Stop being so stupid and stop complaining about every aspect of publish 10 and the Jedi thing.

It's not a tip. And I for one (as do some of my friends) hate just about every Jedi. And we do NOT want to become one.

This is part of my point. You "hate" all Jedis? What does that even mean, where does that even come from? They are human players just like you are. They have the time and dedication to play the game, and they decided to pursue a higher goal in the game. Now they are reaping the benefits of a lot of hard work and they get hated by everyone. That comment is perhaps one of the most ignorant things I have ever read.

I for one do not think Aglay's post was all that ignorant, as you say
When I got into this game about 9-10 months ago, I did not expect this to ever turn into KOTOR online....
Jedi weren't even supposed to be in this timeline, but I figured since they made it so hard to get one, an made it so that BH could "supposedly" kill them at a loss of xp and even skillz to the Jedi, that they would stay EXTREMELY rare and out of sight
It hasn't turned out that way however, whenever I go to Coronet or Theed I see at least 5-6 Jedi hanging out around the Space Ports lightsaber blazing with no ill effects to them
and after publish 10 this will only get worse, soon the Jedi will outnumber the regular charecters in the galaxy, is this really what this game has evolved into?
I just find the whole thing disheartening

when i am actually killed by a jedi then I will worry. Considering I haven't even been attacked by one yet.... I barely see them... and I don't see a flock of them wondering around in packs beating up on little kids and taking there candy.
I agree lay off the whining

Again this just reinforces my original post. People think it is ok to have a few Jedi around. However they do not want to see them, and they do not want to be killed by them. Also if you make it possible to be a Jedi then you can guarantee that there will be quite a few. There are simply too many people out there who have the time to dedicate. I've been killed by a few Jedi on Bria. They are not so strong that they are unbeatable. Not only that, there are rebel and imp jedis and I have witnessed a few battles where they cancel each other out and what swings the battle is the normal players. I have been caught by myself or in a pair when a reb Jedi strolled up and killed me. But I get killed all the time, I PvP a fair amount and it is just bound to happen. I can not figure out what it is about Jedi that everyone hates. I can only think of a few reasons why. First reason is the feeling that the game should strictly follow the storyline. There is really nothing to say about this, there are always people out there who have strong opinions about the story and how it should be represented. Arguing that is like arguing religion, its just a belief. The other reason is simply jealousy. Lets think about this for a minute. If you had the option to just be a Jedi with no strings attached and no grind or whatever, wouldn't you take it? Many stubborn people that already have an opinion formed about them will say no. How cool would it be to be a Jedi in this game? It will never be as extreme as KOTOR online as you say. On Bria I can only think of 15 or so Jedis that I have seen running around. At any given time I have only seen 4 at once, 2 rebs and 2 imps duking it out in Bestine.
The ignorant part of the post is he "hates" Jedis. You hate someone who is playing a game just as you. You can hate the design decision, or whatever, but hating the Jedi? Thats just lame.
