i have my Keymap set up to FPS controls, because i enjoy using WASD to nav and my mouse to complete actions. i recently formatted my harddrive so i could start fresh, and after installing and patching SWG, logged in and began to get my custom controls and hot keys back in place. heres the problem, minor, but annoying. i cant walk left. im set to defult run, and use shift to momentarly run/walk toggle and i cant hold shift and move left (using A of course) i can start running left, then hit shift to walk, but the second i let go of A, thats the end of my leftmost walking
at first i thought something was having a conflict of bindings, that shift, A, or both were somewhere else on the keymap, but nope. another person said that the Momentarly walk/run toggle had to be binded as shift/shift *using both right and left shift* but nope. i know its minor, but any suggestions?

There are options in CTRL+O that turn Run On by default. Mouse for strafing, etc. Go through those menus.

yeah, i mentioned that im set to run by defult, and to turn mouse strafes on kinda defeats the purpose of using WASD to move. i have no problem running, i have a problem walking, walking left specifically. i binded move left to another key and it worked fine, so it would seem that its the A key, but i cant see where else it might be binded, suggestions?

Hmmm... Not sure. As the CTRL uses those other keys also for various controls. On the off chance that the keyboard has some issues, do you have a spare to check? Other than that, I have no clue. Sorry.

it may be that you have something bound to "shift-a" not just "a" and not just "shift".
a = left
shift = run/walk toggle
shift-a = ????
