Thread: I need some info , on the Scythe schematic Quest ?

I have 4 questions that i need answered , if you can help me ill appreciate it very much !
#1- Where is the place that i need to go to to get the quest ?
#2- I am a non-combat Character so i cant really kill anything, are there other quests required to get the the actual one with the schematic?
#3- If i get to the schematic , is it possible for me to hop in my vehicle and haul ass outta there and not fight the krayt , or does he like spawn 30 secs before the schematic ?
#4- What do i actually have to do on the quest ? Combat ? Or just traveling ?

I don't have the wp for the quest on me, but google for it and it'll come up.
no combat skills at all may or may not be a problem. you have to do 3 (i think) quests for the lady who gives you the map before she'll give it to you. if i remember right, two of them are destroy missions, and one is a delivery mission.
the destroy missions are incredibly easy. i suppose if you got buffed and used like a cdef pistol you could do it.
and no, you don't have to fight the krayt. you go dig where the map tells you to (krayt graveyard) and a container appears. when you open it mr. krayt spawns right infront of you. you can grab the schem and the other things in the container (usually a junk rifle and other crap) without getting hit.
but since there's the possibility, don't store your bike, get buffed, wear armor and pop some synthsteak and you'll have no problem.

The person that gives the quest also won't give it to you if you are less then an elite profession. I had 3 different guildmates try to do it in basic professions (not a master basic) and the quest giver said it was beyond their skill.
I don't have the waypoint but the person's name is Hedon and they are in the courtyard by the medical center in Mos Entha. If you head to the med center from Shuttleport B go by the med center on the left and you'll see an archway. Walk through and you'll find him mixed in with a bunch of NPCs.
Also if you reset your Tatooine quests with the planet record keeper, you can do it again for another schem. Just be careful of the Krayt. It attacked me both times I did the quest almost as soon as it spawned. Make sure you go buffed and havedecent armor.

I dont get it , i logged onto my main char who is novice bh , pistoleer0021 , master marksmen , and it still would let her take quest !?!?!

See Hedon Istee in Mos Entha... he's inthe walkway over the other side of the wall that faces you when you exit starport.
You need to be 2 or 3 boxes into an Elite combat prof or he wont give you the missions.
Couple of quick assassin missions and a fetch and carry later and he gives you the map to spot in Krayt Graveyard. Go there and dig. The Krayt appears on top of a container. Loot the schematic plus other junk from the container and run.
Go to Mos Eisley and talk to record keeper if you want to reset and do it all again.

I beleive it checks certain amount of experience you might have to get the quests.
Yes, you can run out to the graveyard, read your map, make the waypoint. Go there and loot the box then run away. And yeah, There are people out there that try to exploit new players to get their schematics since you only get it one. Im glad you have to be a certain combat skill for the npc to talk to you.

from my experience with this NPC, you have to have a master elite combat profession 
kinda like all the other really cool missions....we need some stuff for crafters to do.....please?

Actually you can get it twice. You just need to reset your quests with the planet record keeper in Mos Eisley to do it the second time. The first time I did it I was a 0/4/4/4 BH with my LLC equipped and the second time I had started pikeman but I forget exactly how far into it I was. I know I had at least 6 boxes of pikeman.

Anyone have the wp to the tatooine quest resetter. Also, which quests does it resey? Hero quests as well?
