Thread: So..umm whatever happened to transfering a charatcer to another galaxy?

I know it was mentioned and that the devs would get back on it but I havn't heard anythgin...or maybe I had a brain loss and I don't know what i am tlaking about....But I do know character transfering was mentioned...

I remember them mentioning it. I believe it was asked about at a Stratics dev chat. However, nothing regarding it has been discussed in the forums since then.
Originally, this system was being developed to help with testing on Test Center. Now that they have the character builders on TC2, there may not be as much of a need. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

yes plz devs, shed some light on this, a lot of players need to know when this is happening with JTL fast approaching i NEED a lower ping,
this was supposed to be added a few publishs ago.
even if u cant give a date/publish for this plz make some details known like
a) will rank & badges move over
b) skills only or items too
c) real money cost
d) anythg else u want to throw in e.g. houses etc
please clarify

It should be: Character avitar and skills- all items in inventory EXECPT those items which are not already on that server such as a painting. this ocmmand should only be allowed for any and all characters but only one time per2 monthst per character...
This is a simple way to get what you need. If it doens't fit in your inventory you don't take it with you...Simple eh? thats over 75+50+20(droid storage)+?(there are some other things out there)Thats well over 100 items and should be acceptable.

75? You can store 75 items in your inventory? I'm limited to only 60.
Plus, you can have up to 5 droids in your datapad, so the total would be 59 (one taken for backpack) + 50 (in backpack + 50 in droids (10 each for 5 droids), totalling 159 actual items, plus the backpack.

dev's have stated numerous times it would only be skills that transfer, although after this weeks little fiasco i doubt transfering credits also would really make any difference at this point

Just skills and appearance, not even clothing or items. It also costs 30 bucks to do it.

Does this include transfers to TC1? Or just between the normal live servers?

Apparently you can still do Acts 1 - 3.
But I too dislike the fact that we loose badges on the transfer. Rather silly.

im pretty sure ACT I is dead, ACT II and III can be got throu looting, if they can turn on ACT I compleition then i have no problem and will redo. Just damned if im gonna lose illreplacable badges and pay money for it!

Yes I was also under the assumption that Act 1 could no longer be done.
But apparently the Dev's turned it back on again. When did that happen? I have no idea, but the newbs in Flurry have been trading for the discs and getting their badges.

Forgive me for being a noob, but what exactly were Act I, II and III and how can you still do the latter two?
