yeah just wondering if anyone knew exactly when structure damage reports are meant to be sent, yup ive been dosey and lost a factory with quite alot of my main reasources in it , my own fault u say ?? yes i partly agree , my only quarm tho is that i only recived a structure damage report when it was down to 27% , now this factory was on one of my alts who i rarely log in now , last time i did was on monday, logged him in today to read the 27% structure mail that was sent on tuesday, i just feel like maybe if i had got a little more warning, say when the factory was at 75% then at 50% then 25% i could have avoided this situation , im sure in the past ive recived these structure damage mails sooner than when my structure was at 27%, so anyone know when were meant to recive the warnings ?

I had this happen to me and I never got an e-mail. The answer I got was that you get an e-mail when the structure is down to 50% IF someone walks by it and it loads it into the world. If it is in a remote spot and no one walks by it, it will disappear without running a check.

hmm quite a lousy way to do it really, it wasnt exactly in a remote spot either, im awaiting a csr response on the matter ( lol not they have EVER been any use before ) but depending on how that go's it looks as tho ill be canceling my account along with the rest of my friends who have left ( im the only one left ) im not in a possition to carry on crafting without all my things and that was the only thing keeping me going in this game now , id put my heart into craftin to hopefully kill sometime till some needed fixes were made with the game , i dont normally condone the "spit your dummy out" approach but im not left with much choice , even a mail saying it was on 50% then i would have recived it and had time to go topup maintinence

I hear your pain. Like I said I lost quite a bit when I lost everything and never got an e-mail. The CSR told me that the last time I payed maintanence it was X days ago and for XX credits, thank you and have a nice day. That was when I cancled one of my accounts. You would think when you log in, it should query the DB for everything you have and if anything is at 50% drop you an e-mail. It wouldn't have to load it into the world to read the DB, but I'm not programing it, so that will never be.

yeah, thats it youd expect more than a mail saying it was almost gone , even a mail to say its about to run into - maintinence , well see how csr go's but as ive mentioned ill probably get a "tough luck" answer from them, i feel quite saddend now , i was in the middle of a major stock to try and pop a bit of life back into my game and not turn my back on swg as there had been some good times and id hoped for more in the future , but without something to keep me going till then * shrug * . well i hope it doesnt come to me leaving but it looks like i will be, whats the lesson weve learned from all this then , dont put all your egg's into 1 basket and rely on yourself and not the company your paying

the problem is that you receive email regarding maintenance status only, I repeat ONLY, when you are online (this was the answer to a ticket from a CSR).

that explains why sometimes you receive at 80%, 27%, 3%......

yeah just got the response that the mails are courtesy and not to be relied upon , ahh well spent to much time to start again

The e-mails used to happen at an earlier stage, usually as soon as your maint. ran out and the condition dropped below 100%, but lately they have been coming very infrequently. I got very lucky recently with a structure factory that I had neglected, I had received my first e-mail when the structure hit 3%. And this was on a character that I play for several hours daily, so I have no idea why I got this mail so late. But the mail was sent when I was offline, so I don't think the theory that you only receive them when you are online is valid. Anyway, a few hours had passed from the time the email was sent to me and the time that I logged on, but luckily the factory was still there when I got there, even though the condition seemed to be 0%. I paid 10,000 into maintenance right away, and I think it ate up all but about 1000 of it to bring it back to workable condition.

Yeah, I lost about 50 crates of armorrepair kits, and a bunch of outstanding resources. (Not to mention a few valuable items like the large Twi'lek painting) because of a factory dying on me. I did get the mail "Your factory at (waypoint) has reached 0% condition. It will be destroyed when it reaches 0%." Even though I did lose a few million credits worth of stuff, I had to laugh at that message.
