Thread: need some answers here from players who know SWG better

im playing about 2 months in SWG and im doing master fencer\tka 0-3-0-4\carbineer 0-0-4-0\master brawler\swordman 0-0-4-0
now the 64,000$ question is: there is a chance i will be able to hurt any of the DWB bounty hunters with my melee skills only?
i mean, i will use always fencer weapon to fight any opponent till ill be able to use a lightsaber, so if someone know if there is a way to dmg them with fencer melee weapons, please tell me
now for another question- im working hard to get rank in the empire, i got officer II this moment, but i stopped to rank up because i dont know if that help me or not, so please, if someone have ANY information about ranks in the game and what can i do with them, please tell me
and for my final question- can someone give me a list here on the forum that contein waypoints to all the damn strong and rare creatures in the game? i need to know really

If you are doing carbineer and swords for the counterattack mod, bear in mind that:
fencers/pistols only use dodge
rifles/pikemen only use block
swordsmen/carbineers only use counterattack
In short if ur holding a fencer weapon you won't be using your counterattack bonus.
If u want to hurt somethingin the DWB,don't go for fencer unless you have a large supply of acklay weapons.
Masterbrawler however is an excellent addition to swords and fencer mainly becuase of lunge2(KD).
I don't understand what you hope to achive from the TKA lines, usually TKM is a good tank and master swords is the best damage output, in which case stacking the carbineer counterattack would actually be useful when holding a 2 handed weapon.

With this template I recommend dropping carbineer as the novice marksman/carbineer sp is very high for such a small skill bonus, and replacing it with more mellee skills, such as 4304 tk. This way you will have meditate and force of will, as well as added melee defences and pvp defences. As for the bunker you'd be best off not using fencer due to it being a profession focusing mainly on defence and damage multipliers not having a great affect on the low statted weapons (comapared to some of the stats you can get on swordsman in pve). Try getting your swordsman to the point you can use headhit3 with your scythe, and you should be able to find yourself doing +1000 damage to some mobs in the bunker.
Your imperial ranking will benefit you in 3 main things: Imperial contraband searches (you'll have to get your ranking maxed for a high success rate) Pets (AT-ST) and future patches/expansions (JTL, publish 11). IMO its not all worth it, unless the devs pull out the stops in the future.

Unarmed toughness I would say.
But I think that toughness works like dodge and counter attack, so if you want it to apply, you have to be unarmed or with a VK.

with a higher rank you can
1 - stock more faction points so you can get bigger/more expensive structures
2 - get less penalties when selling faction points, as a colonel, it costs you 110fp to transfer 100fp to another character
the strongest creatures in the game
use the datapad/poi tab
on dathomir, all with the "nightsister" name in it.
on tatooine, krayt graveyard (spawns can be rare tho)
gorax, endor desert (in 10 months of game, I never see one, but some friends did)
Corellian corvette / death watch bunker for the toughest things out there (super battle droids)
Tusken fort on tatooine for xecutionners, observers and another type I forgot the name.
