I can still equip it just fine, except for when the game tells me I am do not have enough 2ndary ham skills to wear it, which makes no sence, since it has 0 ham costs, and no condition, so it can't decay.
I was gone a while and came back, and I see this now. So if anyone knows why, please help me.

No Condition items are bugged to be considered broken right now, ie: ubese bando, ubese shirt, mabari belt etc.

Bonuses from such items still apply though, and you have to have more than 0 in your secondaries to wear one.

The game can complain about your secondary HAMs when you try to equip an Ubese shirt or a PSG (haven't tested this with a mabari belt yet) even if they are zero encums.

This usually happens when you are wearing armor with HAM costs that you cannot normal wear (commonly obtained by not taking heavy armor off after your doc buffs run out). I think the effect is based on the game considering you to as being onnegative secondary HAMs (even if they show as a value of "1"), and thus anything with an encum value (even if it is 0 encums) will be rejected.

As far as your item being broken, it is not. Mabari belts and Ubese shirts seem to be made with 0/0 condition and can reportedly never break since they do not wear down fromdeath decay.

You can still use these items normally even if they show up as red (=broken). The broken effect is probably a bug since they introduced the red backgroud for broken items and the game thinks these items are broken due to the zero condition value, when they are in fact not.
