I just started novice pistoleer....and im loving it. But I need something to offset it. I thought of Creature Handler, or Doctor. What career goes best with pistoleer (and why)?

I don't do PvP much. I really enjoy the quests, exploring and doing missions. Advice?

thanks

probably TKM or Smuggler... or BOTH!

the defenses you get from them are nice i'm told...

of course you can never go wrong with doc

EDIT

also, if u go pistoleer, rifleman may be a nice combo, its great (i'm told) and that gives you long range/close range

if u want to continue with just pistols u could get BH 0040 and smuggler 0040

if not fencer is a great combo with it

If you're defensive minded, Fencer combines nicely with Pistoleer. You'll have good Ranged/Melee Defence, capped Dodge, and incredible Def vs State mods. If you're offensive minded get BH Pistols IV/Master Pistoleer so you have hyper-accuracy, good specials, bleed and fire DOT's,and enough speed to hit the cap for all your specials but not as much defence as a Fencer/Pistoleer. If you primarily PvE, BH/Pistoleer also has Exploration IV for great terrain negotiation and maskscent.

Thanks Shaft!....thats some great help. Usually I do PvE....and I end up fighting more than one creature at once. Battles seem to be slow grinds (takes a long time to get the creatures HAM down). Is Fencer or BH better for this type of battle?

As you can tell I'm a bit of a NOOB....but trying to learn. My character has a whopping 20k credits!....lol.

Once you get Fan Shot, it will no longer be a problem fighting more than one creature. The biggest problem I have with going Master Pistoleer and BH pistols will be the lack of a ranged kd. I would suggest taking the dirty fighting line from smuggler, the specials are great. Even though panic shot is not what it used to be.
