i had a rug in my house and i droped a data pad to put on a table but it went under neath the rug. so then i moved the rug down to ge the data pad out and then i was going to put it back but the rug went ender neath the floor and i cant select it again. it was only a orange but still i would like it back. i can see it pop up some times but its not selectable.

use the find lost item in the house terminal to retrieve it

Type /targauto then type /pick

yes, using the /target command and then typing what you want to target is great for this. it is also helpful for finding the doc who is spamming his buff prices and you can't see him. I.E. in coronet.

or when there are multiple items dropped or placed on top of each other
