Hi,
I've been reading some of the threads I pulled from a search on getting the alderaan flora, but...I still dont really understand what to do...
Does anyone know how to get these...and, in fact, whether they are still available to get?
Thanks,
Ato

Find one of your old Faction Co-ordinators, from back when you did the Dr. Vaaca stuff, do it from there.
I don't know any of the specific locations, except for Imperial being in Narmle on Rori, and Bestine on Tatooine. No idea about Rebel.
I actually just did the whole thing last night, was rather neat. The last bit was a tad tough, but doable.

Yes, got some the other day for decoration.
It's part of the 3d story arc. Find the appropriate coordinator for your faction. There are 3 I think, located in different cities. I know there is a rebel one in Tyrena near the cantina. After doing his jobs, he directs you to another coordinator nearby who will give you the location of the building to destroy. Take out Jabba's guys guarding the building and you get 1-3 flora. Not easy, not hard, and you usually go to Dath or Yavin, maybe Endor.

Just figured I'd help withthe start points for the quest with no spoilers, there's really no need for a walkthrough as it's pretty self-explanatory, though unless you're a master combatant that loves a challenge I've been told you want to bring friends to the last stage, which occurs after the flora raid.....
One thing not mentioned yet so I thought I'd post this, just in case. It really, really helps to have positive Jabba faction tostart this quest as you have toactually be able to converse withto one of his flunkies first thing (the one that gives you the coords the the warehouse with the flora). I had -2500 Jabba and I could (luckily I guess) get him to say that he doesn't like the look of me, but nothing more. Been beatin down Valarians ever since......

Thanks for the help! I'm rather new to SWG and havent joined either rebel nor imperial...do I have to be one to do this mission...? Also, its been mentioned that its part of a story arc, do you need to do the preceding storyline missions, or can you jump straight into this one?
Thanks again,
Ato

Its ended, was part of the 'Cries of Alderaan' storyline which let people craft deadeye (an uber potion that gave ranged professions uber accuracy [great for wacking jedi]) - but since it has ended it has become uncraftable because the flora no longer fit in the their slot.

Ok, now I'm getting conflicting statements...kind of...
Can I actually still get the alderaan flora. Some of what people write above suggests that it is possible to get it. But then other people suggest that the quest has ended...
What is the correct answer?
Thanks,
Ato

Yes you can still get the flora. I actually got some this weekend and turned it in for about 50 faction points. Yes you do need to be in a faction. I suggest Imperial cause the last mission is somewhat easier. As long as you have buffs and some comp armor for the last mission it shouldn't be too hard. Though you probably need to be a master of a combat profession. The last mission has about 8 or so NPCs with about 10k of HAM or 11k something like that, so it's not exactly easy. Actually all the missions are rather hard. So be prepared.

Ok cheers.
So can I jump in and start from this specific mission...or, do I have to follow the story arc from beginning?

You have to join a faction and start from the beginning but I dont think you need to finish the whole quest. just get to the part where you can loot the flora. You could get between 1 to 3 flora

After completing the mission, you can go back to get another mission as many times as you like

Wrong. I did ALL of Cries of Alderaan except for the final mission as a neutral. I was surprised myself but you do NOT have to be factioned for the 2nd mission that gives the flora because the mobs at the warehouse are aggro (red) instead of faction-aligned.
