Thread: Armor/Force Armor/TKA Armor/Jedi Armor Actual % for each?

I've searched.... but have been unable to find specific info on the effectiveness of the armor types listed in the subject line, and how they compare with eachother. Is 6000armor better than TKM ? Or the same ?How do they compare to Jedi armor from the defender discipline or force armor from the enhancer discipline? If anyone can provide this information or a link to it I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

A TKM has +60 Innate Armor, which is equal to armor at 6000. Master Defender in Jedi has +70, or 7000. These apply to both energy and kinetic damage.

Thank you Nuro, there still remains the question of what percent effectiveness 6000 or 7000 rated armor is. I'm inclined to guess 60% or 70%... but even then I'd like to be sure. Also, does anyone know howeffective Enhancer x2xx and x4xx force armor and improved force amor is?

Not sure about Force Armor, but in my memory it's + 20 innate for Force Armor (x2xx) and + 40 innate for Advanced Force Armor (x4xx).

You can figure the resistances with this here...

60(AR/1000) + {[(10,000 - AR)/1000](AR/200)}

So 6000 would be...

360 + 120 = 480 (or 48%)

7000 would be...

420 + 105 = 525 (or 52.5%)
