Well, after completing the rescue missions to unlock the Force Sensitive Reflexes trees, i decided to do a bit of exploring on Dathomir, since i haven't done much at the POIs out there.

I headed to the Imperial Prison there. I ran some missions for an Imperial fella by one of the guard towers. he had me kill a few escapees, and one of them stole his backpack. well, i did all of these missions, and now i am to go talk with one of the prisoners about the mysterious "disappearnces" of some of the prisoners. I found this prisoner, still locked in his cell by green glowy horizontal bars, but he will not talk to me. he does nothing when i attempt to converse with him. is this mission bugged? or do i need to do other missions from people as well before i have access to the prisoner?

Is there a mission or quest to get access to land at the DAthomir Prison?

Not that i know of, drive out there and search the buildings for JTL terminals if you want to make sure
