What is the quickest and easiest way to gain massive imperial faction points?

Use a smuggler, fly overt in space, farm rebel poi's, farm rebel pve bases.

Is there a good place to grind faction, that is not in space? The reason I say not in space is that I'm not a rebel pilot, I'm neutral.

Think there's a Stormie POI on Rori in the North somewhere. A bunker of a sort..but that's for Rebs.

The Weapons Depot on Talus is good for Imps faction. Lotta rebels, usually camped..for people in similar situation.

Even if you're not a rebel pilot, you can go and declare to a Rebel station. You just won't be able to go to Deep Space, so you'll have to stick to others randoms spawns - near the imperial space station for example -or Kessel.
