I would like to use w,a,s,d to move my character around instead of the arrows. I know how to map the keypad, but when I move I am constantly typing: wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwddddddddssssssssssssssssssssss....you know whatI mean.

Is there a way to turn on/off the typing function. I'm afraid the answer is no, but i thought I would check anyway. I still need to type so I don't want to disable the w,a,s,d keys for typing altogether. If anyone knows, please post.

Pretty sure you can yes.. if you go onto "Options", then "Controls" and then click "Keymap", there is an option called "Enable Modal Chat" - select this.

This means the keys act like they do in space.. you can use any keys foor any commands.. to type messages, you simply press enter before typing.
