Someone told me if I had a stun resist helmet that was what I needed for resisitance to stun (there is a logic to this) Is this true? Or will the stun simply go through somewhere else?

Stun hits to the head will be resisted by the % of stun resistance in the helmet, for example, a rifleman using headshot with a jawa ion rifle(does stun damage)... but stun damage to any other part of the body without stun protection, will simply go right through your armour. example a fencer with a stun baton(surprisingly also does stun damage

Also if you're refering to the stun STATE this cannot be stopped by armour but by def vs. stun mods you can get from the defense in combat professions or def vs. stun attachments.
