Hello,

I noticed over the past few days that I can't find any of the mobs for the hunting missions on Naboo. I'd do the typical thing, go to the Explorer Mission Terminal, ask for a hunting mission, grab one to go kill a bunch of Sentry Hermit Spiders and be on my way.

I flew from Kadaara to Theed to Moenia and I did not spot anything with eight legs!!!!

I tried deleting the mission and grabbing another of the same type and mob. I ran into the same problem. I wasted 3 hours trying to figure this out. I went to some of the most remote locales and didn't see a single Hermit Spider, Sentry Hermit Spider, etc., you get the idea.

Has anyone else ran into this problem??

"Flying" as in using your speeder is a bad idea for this, you usually "fly" too fast to actually notice things spawning on your way.

I usually find a lair or two when I'm flying.

I just tried running from Kadaara to Theed a few moments ago. I still haven't seen any Sentry Hermit Spiders!!!!

So, you took them as a mission from the mission terminals? You should get a WP for your mission. Drive to that
wp. Sometimes it takes a while to make it spawn (10-20sec)... Just wait at the wp and the lair will spawn for
you.

You should activate you on-screen waypoint monitor. Therefor goto the options (ctrl + o), select misc and activate
the monitor from one of the top checkboxes.

I never experienced missions not spawning for me.

Explorer Missions do not give WP's, you are supposed to "explore" the area to locate the creatures yourself.

greetz,

He said that it was a hunting mission from the explorer terminal, for these missions you are just given a specific number of a certain type of creature to kill, you have to find them yourself. I found that taking a mission for that type of creature from the mission terminal could be handy, doingtwo missions with one lair. Of course this is from memory of when I did a few of these when I started out as a scout many moons ago. The thing about flying can matter as well, some lairs don't spawn their creatures until after you have flown past.

when i used to do explorer missions, i either took something that i knew where it spawned, or i took and explore and a hunting for the same creature.

my xp has been explorer missions have a low $ / min ratio. i was always better off taking a couple of high lvel hunting missions, and killing / harvesting everything on the way there and back.

Oh, ok ... didn't know that .. i personally never used the explorer terminals. Well, if this question is
for random spawns then .. yeah, they are still screwed up. Even if 12.1 patch notes state creature
spawning boom and creature spawning while mounted a vehicle, i don't see real changes.

Getting of my bike and store / call never helped me in the past to get creature spawn, nor does it now. And
just like before the patch i sometimes find tons of spawns on a planet one day and nearly none the other day.

What helped me a lot in my early days, when i was looking for specific creatures was
swgcreatures.com
. I dunno if its still up to date, but people posted creature sightnings there, as well as you can
search there to find out which creature is dropping which type of hide / meat.
